Opportunities to celebrate throughout the year
The Friends coordinate some major events as well as our relaxed and informative monthly meetings.
The September plant sale and Friends' information stall, part of the annual Carnival on Collins, that is held in conjunction with the Festival of Cairns. Pre-Easter and early December plant sales that raise funds for the Gardens. Monthly Saturday talk and walk information sessions with an expert in some aspect of horticulture. These sessions take place in the Cairns Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre between 0930 and 1200 on the third Saturday of the month. |
