Want to be a 'Hands on' Friend?
Volunteers from among the Friends are involved in a variety of activities. They work on the Friends' information stall and plant cloakroom at the Gardens' plant sales held in conjunction with Carnival on Collins in September and in December.
Volunteers also organise the monthly guest speaker meetings, help with the Saturday Information Sessions, organise field trips, handle the Friends of the Botanic Gardens publicity and edit the quarterly newsletter.
